Right, so it would make sense to paint the side facing Mexico, which is also the south side that the sun shines on. The north side wouldn't get much sun.

Sometimes called 'blistering heat' the temperature will cause that paint to blister and peel. Even black automotive engine paint will peel if only applied to one side of the surface being painted.

Tests have shown that black paint increases temperature only 3 to 5 degrees in direct sunlight. With cloud cover, shade and/or indirect sun, the difference is negligible! So spend over a million dollars a mile for trumps ego project! Sad!
