Here's another one. Spain probably has the most full-spectrum tourism offer of any country, maybe even ahead of France. I stayed in a place a few years ago and it had three professional cycling teams doing training. There's boutique, or very high end, cities and city breaks, skiing, food, etc. 1
And even for cheap holidays, the point isn't the low cost: the point is the damage to local society, and the associated bad behaviour. It's a great country for family hols, but I don't think I'd take the kids to Ibiza town. Ends
