That requires corporate Dems to ditch big money themselves. Corporations have infiltrated the Democratic Party as well.

I would argue they have different goals. The oligarchs controlling the Dems generally arenβt psychos pushing disinformation and Christian nationalism. They are just interested in the status quo. For example, Obama and Biden hire from Big Law for their DOJ, Obamacare caters to insurers, etc.

They still maintain elitism and capitalism that benefit the rich but they try to do so in a way that makes life less bad for everyday people. GOP ditched that a while ago. But there are some like AOC and Sanders (although independent) that donβt take corporate/PAC money.
