Saying that an honest opinion about a weakness in our national media's political reporting is disingenuous seems kinda patronizing.

Patronizing? I disagreed with your opinion because NYC matters a lot more than other cities when it is a massive center for culture, tourism, etc. The simple fact is that NYC being as big as it is, is what makes it so relevant, especially with so much pressure looming from the executive branch
