At this point I'm full on Canadian. Distilled, bottled and sold here. Plus our friendlies. That's it.
Many Canadian Trade War soldiers agree with you There are lots of theories as to why they are closing down the Ontario plant and moving production to the US but they donβt hold water
Diageo is a global entity and has no ties to Canada other than profit decisions. I don't feel I owe them any loyalty.
We donβt owe any loyalty My argument is that the Diageo executives are tone deaf or donβt care about their Canadian customers. I ask about the reasons for moving bottling of US market product to the US - moving to avoid paying tariffs doesnβt make sense so why do it now?
I agree
I'm in the U.S. and boycotting so many companies I've lost track. Of course,I live on $12K annually, so it's not hard to boycott. π
Keep up the good work - Us poor people have it the easiest when it comes to boycotting
That's so true. But, I do miss Target π’
I hear Zellers is making comeback or that might have been a satire fake news headline - I didnβt look too far into it
Good on you. We all contribute in our own way.
