Mid term preparations to imply Democrats cause/want crime. We can’t let them create this lying narrative. Most all the safest cities in this country are run by Democrats. I live in one. Leadership needs to talk more about our safe cities

We have the data. The states with the strongest gun laws also have among the lowest rates of gun violence (MA, NJ, NY, RI, HI, CT, CA) and are all led by Democrats. The states with the highest rates of gun violence (MS, LA, AL, NM, AK, TN, AR, etc) and weakest gun laws are all Republican.

And in my state of New York, the rate of gun violence is even lower (much lower) in the NYC metro area than in the red districts upstate. It's not that hard - easier gun access = more gun deaths. We just need to be able to tell the story better.
