Going down the "border control" rabbit hole was a mistake. Deportations at the border were absolutely up - using Title 42 if I remember right. And yeah - using those metrics to counter MAGA border control narrative was a losing gambit. It was never about the numbers. Trump demonstrates that now.

Oh FFS they are both at fault not just one. Yes, trump is directing this now. Yes, Biden and Harris deported WAY more people than Trump’s 1st term, raised the ICE budget, and helped move the Overton window farther right. Criticizing only one side when they’re both doing it is cult behavior
