I wouldn't. I'd much rather see scientists spend what little time and resources they have on something constructive. Besides, the influencers would just make some claims about "mainstream propaganda machine", and the bleach-drinkers would nod along eagerly, same as they always do.

I imagine I know what you meant. But I just don't see the value in trying to persuade the wilfully ignorant any longer. Anything you manage to teach them won't survive their next trip to the misinformation channel of choice. Best we can do is try to keep them away from children.
