When we point out crimes committed by trans people, it is not to villainize them, but to illustrate that they are not a special sacred caste incapable of violence. It is a response to the constant refrain "trans people are no threat to you".

Quite honestly I think most men are born with the potential for this kind of violence. It's social conditioning that removes (or at least suppresses) it.
