I find it interesting that a government would use a cloud service. All of those services tell you that they own anything on their servers. I don't use those services as, valuingmy privacyand intellectualproperty, I prefer to pay for secure storage. Bizarre.

Who said it will be different? The only way to have safer cloud provider is to not use US based providers.
The government of Canada should invade their Redmond campus.
Or better yet, start moving their data to Canada. If that's not possible, they could look into more stable countries. I've been in IT for decades and saw this coming a mile away when the cloud got popular. The cloud is just someone else's server that you don't control
And why I refuse to use the cloud for anything, and have since the beginning. I never trusted it. People I know said I was just being paranoid. I guess I'd rather be paranoid and safe than endangered because I went along with the popular crowd.
