What’s incredible about the Epstein fracture on the right is it’s a clean split between the true believers who have no connection to reality (the ones demanding the Epstein files) and the ones who know who Trump is and have made a deliberate calculation to support his grotesque fascism.

Most of Congress falls into that second group, but most of the base falls into the former group.

Well, plus the weird fracture at DOJ which seems to be due to causes totally different from those in the outside movement but is otherwise opaque to the rest of us

Some of the base, I know many maga who know exactly what he is and do not care as long as they get what they want.

The “true believers” are quite okay with fascism too. Were their psychosis a real reflection on the actual state of affairs, then a radical response might even be justified. It’s the second group, including those who peddle psyops to victimize the first group, that are the biggest bastards.

I can't decide which is worse - the people who want concentration camps, or the people who don't care about the concentration camps as long as you don't violate the issue that matters to them.
