Here's a hint, doing an interview is not illegal activity. Incredibly stupid comment.

It's also not illegal to say "I engage in human trafficking" but people get questioned over comments like this.
Did Hasan say he engaged in human trafficking or anything like that in the interview to which you refer?
No, but he repeatedly praised the Houthis as a liberation movement. A different extremist is infamous for openly talking about his human trafficking and had to get sprung from arrest by Trump himself.
the guy's a dingus, but that speech is fucking protected by the first amendment. you saying a man can't state his OPINIONS?
No, I'm saying that some opinions create suspicion of illegal activity.
That's nonsense. Like sure an individual can be suspicious because of ones opinions, that's natural and their right, but the state acting on it is a whole different beast.
The state constantly acts on suspicion of a crime.
Yeah i dunno if he's stated anything actionable. I don't follow the guy, but my impression was he wasn't saying shit like he was thinking of letting houthi's in or some shit. That i could see.
False equivalence. The Tate brothers have been indicted on *actual evidence* of human trafficking, not because of their opinions. Sheesh.
And as I said @ the skeet before you deleted (wrong threading?), he wasn't indicted, just questioned and then let go. For the Tate brothers, the investigation began with the bragging and then realized the bragging was of real crimes.
This isn’t about suspicion, it’s intimidation to suppress free speech, something that this administration is eager to do. There’s no reasonable suspicion to think that this journalist is a terrorist. Simply absurd.
