I don’t know if this is a common experience for #LGBTQ+ folks, but I’ve noticed that since coming out I’ve become more aware of and interested in my own hotness. I think this is because I place myself in a different role romantically/sexually now, one which feels a lot more natural and comfortable.

This week I watched as a driver accelerated to well in excess of the 20MPH limit towards a set of lights 100m away, already red, with a car already waiting at them. I pointed out the speed limit and the absurdity of the driver’s actions to him. Cars are responsible for so much societal brain rot.

In this weekend’s not dying news I wasn’t killed by a FlixBus way over the speed limit, zero situational awareness as the cycle line merges into the bus lane westbound on Whitechapel Road, because I was paying attn. Caught up at some lights, told the driver it was 20 and to slow the fuck down.

I've had this. I've had colleagues tell me of their holiday plans to places like Antalya and how lovely it's going to be for them. Then I remind them that if I went there I'd probably be k!lled. Then they look at me in shock that such a concept is even possible.
