So I know civil war one was about heroes deciding if they wanted or not to be government agents hence creating a portion of heroes that became sorta of vigilantes (very summarized of course) but what is civil war 2 about again?
Let’s say a book is sold at 20, the European publisher usually does a 5% for everyone when selling so stores get the books with that discount taht they then take out for non subscribed customers thus gaining that 5% they avoided buying them books. Great video! Very informative and interesting!
Or even just spefic numbers they know will 100% sell usually 10/15 copies. In my experience even with all these challenges the people working are always very good and welcoming even. Most stores do not have discounts services but the ones that do use a trick to make you believe there is discount
From 4 euros to 6/7 euros which again isn’t bad. Stores do also usually have very small spaces and they do find it difficult to get new customers so aside the for the regulars the stores do end up filling with not sold issues, to the point most stores have “solved” the issue by buying smaller bulks
Here generally cover variants do not exist and most books do survive only to either being released even if late in trade format or by being put together with another book hence raising the general price of comics. From two months ago the prices went up so the normal price range for comics can go
Speaking from an non USA comic reader, LCBS here in europe are unfortunately slowly dying due to various reasons, the main ones being that comics are still quite niche hobby that from the seller pov do require big investments to keep up with weekly new releases, secondly the prices being different
