Aside from being a distraction from Epstein, I'm worried Mr. "Nobel Peace Prize" is generally building his chops for provoking wars because he's gonna need wars to declare national emergencies, declare martial law, and suspend elections, to further consolidate power and stay in the WH indefinitely

It's so gross and juvenile the way they had to brand the thing, "PURSUING PEACE", like it's some deep intellectual paperback novel. How about pursuing peace by getting the murdering, torturing, rapist war criminals the fuck out of the country they invaded unprovoked?

The right also knows how to use government to dictate and punish

I get worried when anyone says "he can't" anything I would have thought he can't unleash a violent/deadly attack on the US Capitol based on an obvious lie and then convince a majority of voters that it basically never happened

I was told we're in the worst economy in the history of economies. Levels never before seen, blah blah!

I don't even see it as historical revisionism. It's only, "Nazi" comes from "National Socialist" party, which has the word "socialist" in it. To idiots, socialist = communist, so that gives idiots like Musk a "well actually" that makes them feel smart. Musk doesn't put any thought into anything

Yeah -- isn't this the same type of "censorship" Elon said was the main problem with Twitter -- and vowed to eliminate -- when he bought Twitter?

Yes, it's sad that "the party of law and order" villifies Capitol cops for daring to defend THEM against an attack on THEM by THEIR OWN Emperor-God's army of misfits. But it's much sadder that this bizarre hipocrisy represents winning politics our country. We're screwed.

Well at least he'll cut our energy bills by 50-75%. Right...?

Right? Who knows that? Nobody knows that. He's a genius

This is what America voted for. This is what most Americans think politics is -- this is the kind of thing they can understand True, they do also understand grocery prices, but when your policies will only raise prices (after promising to lower them) you have to change the subject

It's true, MAGA has an uncanny capacity to suffer pain as long as they perceive the "other side" as suffering MORE

Wouldn't it be safer to say the Trump administration definitely WON'T support Ukraine? The what-would-Putin-do calculation here is pretty obvious.

There's an old rule of thumb for emails that should apply to texts also: don't send anything you wouldn't want published on the front page of the New York Times. (Or the Beijing Daily News for that matter.) Just keep confidential, sensitive, & financial information out of emails and texts.

Sad but true -- even respected media outlets desperately rely on bad journalism to make money, because negativity sells. Anger and disagreement drive clicks, which drives revenue. This is where we are as a culture. So we shouldn't wonder why the liars and cheaters are winning.

Good point. In Trump version 1 we'd watch him fawn over Putin and defer to his every wish, and we'd say "wow whatever Putin's got on Trump must be incredible", but at this point, what could sway MAGA? Anything? Trump raped a kindergarten class while eating puppies? MAGA would make it into a T-shirt

Wait... God can't be wrong or make mistakes, and also He can't lie. So He can't be sorry and He can't SAY he's sorry. Or....maybe... more likely, the universe is about to explode.
