Out of 11 albums, that's a pretty damn good average lol. I would loooove to see them. I've had to miss their show any time they rolled through my hometown and it drives me nuts. Next time they pass through the area, I'm finding a way.
MelencHoly was the song that really grabbed me off Shining, though.
Moonflowers is in my top 5 all time easily, very similar reason. Shining is really good, but coming off Moonflowers, understandably hard to top that one.
I'm not saying you have to be a fan, but I simply don't know how anyone could listen to this 6 albums and not be entranced with this band.

The new In Mourning album is why, of all metal, melodeath is simply the best.
I sadly could, and I will resent it until I die and carry that regret to my grave. The only time I like Ronnie was back in Escape the Fate, and the only thing Slaughter did decent was adding a bit of nu metal to a few songs. Otherwise? Pure garbage. All the way.

My summer of death has really shown me that death metal, and all it's variations and subgenres, really is my fucking jam. Almost all the shirts I own now are OSDM, melodeath, blackened, or death-doom. This shit has completely taken over my life now.
I thought the story was great. But it was the game play that killed it for me. When I heard they wanted to do a live action, I was sold on that. Just give me the story. Dom is one of the most tragic fucki g characters I've seen.
I'll never understand how this franchise became so popular. First one was okay, but the 2nd was so boring. I realized any future installments were all going to be the same.
