I really enjoyed the class, which I signed up for even though at 16. I already considered myself an Atheist. We covered Abrahamic, Eastern, & several different Pagan religions. All ruined because of one evangelical with too much time on there hands.
I took a "Theology" class in high school. One of my classmates was talking to his home schooled cousins about how Jews, Xtians & Muslims worship the same god (Abrahamic) just differently. His aunt heard him, lost her shit & went after the school board. That was the last year the class was available

That city is flirting with selling off some of its parks to developers to fund part of the water system rebuild. Still, water bills which are already the highest in the region will go up 50-75%. Then stay at that rate for 4-8 years. All because a MAGA chud got into city government & fucked them.
While I've never met that mayor, I'm involved in my own city government. My Mayor has to work with the idiot Mayor on regional issues. 5 other area mayors told the idiot he was screwing his residents by not submitting the funding request. Now people are finding out & he's not happy.
I'm posting this because the guy left 17 voicemails calling the mayor a dumb piece of shit who had no business in government. He said he was with my buddy (the councilman) & me. The mayor wants to know who I am so he can "give me a piece of his mind". I don't live in that city.
He was informed the city council along with public works put together a funding request. Unfortunately the Mayor hates the Governor so he refused to submit it. Hundreds of municipalities received funding for infrastructure, just not his city. All because his mayor is childish.
Was at a bar last night where a guy was bitching about his taxes going up because his city needs to completely rebuild its water system. He saud "it'd been nice if we got some that $18B the state blew". I happened to be with one of his city councilman.

I regularly email my Financial advisor about my portfolio. He regularly asks "what's your logic", to which I explian. He sends out a weekly newsletter to his clients. Last week my wife noticed 3 of the 9 paragraphs in that newsletter were paragraphs I had sent him verbatim.
I like to snowboard, ice fish, play pond hockey in the winter. Then boat, wake skate, & sand bar in the summer. Spring & fall allow me to do none of those things. Which means I end up doing house projects during that time. I hate house projects.
Sone of us like to be cozy, jeez. I'm also not a fall mfer. I like summer & winter equally. Fall & spring suck imo. All my favorite things to do are in peak winter & sunmer.

My wife says I couldn't spend that every month. I disagree. I'd be a massive contributor to a ton of creators Patreons. So there's a 100k spread to 15-20 creators. Another 150k to non profits. I cam find a way to blow another half million a month. I have faith in myself.

I've only gotten a few international packages via mail. All of which were "smart post". Which is when a foriegn post office delivers it to Fed Ex, then they deliver it to a US post offices regional sorting facility. This is good for DHL mostly, & creates an incentive for UPS & Fed Ex.

This sucks balls but every time I've gotten stuff "mailed" from foriegn countries it's been "Smart Post". As in Fed Ex gets it's international air freight business subsidized. DHL is my preferred international parcel shipper but both Fed Ex & UPS have been trying to catch up.
