Sires are the Male Parent, usually what horse breeders count for a race horse's pedigree, while the Dame is the female Parent. Example: Gold Ship's Sire is Stay Gold. But when talking about pedigree, they only count the fathers so his Damsire (grandfather on the mother side) is Mejiro McQueen.
So the written rules of #umamusume is that if the Umas share a sire, they're not related, but if they share a dame, they are. This is why Biwa Hayahide and Narita Brian are related but Gold Ship and Orfevre aren't. This doesn't stop Umas who past life were blood related to connect.

I'm going on a minor hiatus from working on short form work so i can finally focus on long form content. There's so many stories i want to work on or rework due to new lore it hurts. Plus i want to properly give Aether and Rover their flowers and give them one shots in the future.

As a Writer, I find myself at odds with AI when it comes to writing. As I've been slowly coming to understand is that people can us AI to write everything and that feels wrong. There's no personality, no drive, lazy. I think the best way to explain it, is that AI shouldn't be your main hand weapon.
Well until I figure out concrete, I went ahead and deleted the only fanfic I've written for it and I write for the series, as simple as that. I don't feel like stressing myself out over this when life is already stressful.
