This is coming, in part, from 5 years of working at games companies which all feel like they are not planning beyond the next month, hell, week. Things constantly change, get started one week and cancelled the next. It shouldn't be this hard to budget your next year.
I do feel like storefronts (especially steam) should've been more active on this before it happened. We've seen this happen to dlsite and patreon, why did steam not have someone preparing a plan for this? Itch I can kind of get behind because they're small

タミヤ 1/48 IV号戦車H型 『It Has a Deep Dunkelgelb.』 完成しましたー！ 格好良い！ 今回挑戦したのは二つ。タミヤ純正のコーティングシートだけを使った上で、最低限の汚しで仕上げること。そして、瓶生のダークイエローを使用することです。 難易度が高かったのは後者。普段はもっと明度を上げたダークイエローを使用し、全体のコントラストを上げて映えを目指すのが手癖でした。 それをあえて禁じ手にした今回。苦戦しましたが、各部の色バランスに気を配り、味のある仕上がりにすることができたと思っています。 そういう気持ちを込めての、タイトルであります。 ご覧いただければ幸いです

Sometimes it's best to focus on speed or you won't even get to take a turn while a monk barrages you with punches Also I should probably fix the little effect popup saying ATK + -1 lol

I could have higher difficulty modes where you need to do more thinking and planning and observing to figure out what exactly is going on in the fight while you run around, while on lower informational difficulty you get a clear combat log and your goblin's health is always shown
Now that I've added combat dialogue the need for an exact combat log has kind of been reduced. I kind of didn't like having it to begin with. This did make me think of having difficulty on two axes - enemy strength and informational difficulty

Just my opinion but I've never heard someone who learned Japanese go "wow I'm so glad I spent those hours on Duolingo" Granted I've only seen people use it and not used it myself for more than like 20 minutes
I think Duolingo is probably worse than useless for learning Japanese. It does not seem to get anyone to any level of comfort with the language, while it still gives you the illusion that you've made progress for the day so you are less likely to put energy into other learning methods

Absolutely. We only had a week but I'd stay a month or longer in a heartbeat. Really made me want to learn Mandarin even more than I already did. Felt very odd being able to read lots of kanji and just guessing a random pronunciation based on its onyomi in Japanese and hoping they get it lol
