An ALP backbencher is politely asking for clarification of Albanese’s position on “good people” attending a racist rally. It’s disappointing that our media hasn’t been less politely kicking the door down to demand this clarification, rather than being satisfied with just reporting the words.

Ok, insane theory time: Trump had a stroke and pulled a reverse-Fetterman. He now holds increasingly progressive views alongside bouts of depression. His team is hiding him and distracting him with golf as they panic and try to remind him of his old ways.
Its impossible to know what is happening exactly with Missing Trump but a reasonable interpretation of the available info is he had a stroke or mini stroke and is slurring his speech and doesn't want to be seen in public in that condition.

Some countries (Netherlands, Denmark) already have effective 4, 4.5 working weeks and they are doing well.
USians enjoying a 4-day work week courtesy of Labor Day should look into why degrowth scholars also support 4-day workweek as the work always gets done, the economy will continue, but people and the environment will have opportunities to flourish, focus on wellbeing, etc.
