I really think everyone is getting weirdly hysterical over an exhibition loss to a pretty good international soccer team. That said, the USMNT in 2026 will either disappoint and fail to get out of the group, or get out of the group and lose their first knockout game. Same as it ever was.

Last year’s representatives were the Colorado Rapids and this led me to decide to go see the Pids against LAFC in 7 F temps in February. So dumb.
My take is they need 7 points from these 5 games to make the playoffs. 3 losses in the next 5, and they’re done. AND it probably doesnt matter, because that 8-9 spot is absolute death. In MLS you can’t squeak in on the Wild Card and play only away games for a month and win a cup. Impossible.

For me it depends. I don’t love evangelicals or messianics using Hebrew because it feels ‘like the language Jesus used’ or whatever. But left leaning churches know some songs like Hinei Mah Tov and then sing them at interfaith events and that feels good.
