For this week's #MiniatureMonday, I realised I hadn't posted all of my Masters of the Universe Battleground miniatures. So I took a few more snaps. Mostly enjoying these minis, but I really wish Archon would start actually putting the characters on their mounts instead of standing alongside them.

Putting together a 3000p HH army with the new force organization is quite a puzzle! But an interesting one, even if it takes a lot of time. You really have to make the proper choices of detachments for what you want to bring. Terminators in a land raider? That's two separate ones.
Painted up the player models of Fate for a friend. It's a newly-released cooperative horde defense board game. The drawings and minis have a lot of character, so it was fun!

Looks like minipainting has to do without Vallejo paints. First they ignore worker's right and safety in their factory, begrudgingly let them have a few fixes and now they blatantly use Generated Images as their selling point. If you can't support artists I can't support you.

Yeah, it's kind of like that. As an example, compare the rules for "who fights when" from the previous (1) and current rules (2-3):
Things weren't really hard to understand before, but they are now. When you already know what the rule is, and can see that they're trying to explain the exact same thing as before with just so many more words, it's hard to see the point.
Everything is set up in a procedural step with a specific name having a specified name, which makes reference clearer, but... Having to repeat those procedure names over and over makes for unnatural sentences that just makes everything harder to read, and much longer to write.
Reading the new HH rule book, and holy hell, what are they doing? Every rule is 5 times longer than before and written like a programming manual. The procedure is largely the same as before, but this is so much harder to parse. Just read through charging and combat, and I'm exhausted.

I'm not American, but you should know that the whole world sees and laments (well, the reasonable of us) what is happening now. I feel these comics are an important insight in things on the ground that media usually doesn't cover. Really wish you didn't have to make them (so to speak).
Perfect album that came out when you were 16: I got this and StarCraft for my 16th birthday, and played them so much together.
Finished building the first Saturnine Terminator! 60 parts, took probably 45 minutes. Wild. Each one is like a small full dreadnought. But more flexible than one might think, with ball joints for the arms, hips and feet. Which also make it a bit hard to lock in the standing pose, but I like it.
I only ever did the one comic about Ozzy and it was back in October 2019

I think some people have trouble seeing fascism as anything other than 1940s Germany. But I think 'people going to a comic convention needing to have a plan in case the government's goons show up to disappear people' is a pretty good demonstration of what it can look like in 2025.
