I just wanna give a HUGE thank you to everyone who's supported me through this, to all the friends who messaged me during my down point. Even if I didn't respond I did see it and I appreciate it. More art to come as always, and I hope you like what I have in store
What's helped even *more* is shifting my art to stuff that I'm genuinely happier doing. The big stuff will happen, obviously but I wanna make it when I REALLY want to make it and not just out of compulsion to.
I've been feeling a lot better lately since my stupid vent post the other day, shifting my mindset and not letting myself get too invested in spaces that aren't willing to be invested in me has really helped my mental state relating to *me*

I think it looks great! It gives all the details even more to land your eye on, really pops out! I think it’s a great blend of the two looks too, retains the roots of traditional work but a bit sharper

Today’s just a very shitty cynical day. Just feeling kinda aimless and mad at *everything*
Last pic is kinda solidifying just how much fun I've been having doing normal body stuff vs big at the moment. Launch was a struggle to get done just cause the sauce wasn't there, started sketching Clair who wasn't even gonna be IN the pic originally and finished her lines in like 10 minutes.

One thing I will say would be awesome while I’m doing whatever this is, would just be to share around what I’m doing, toss it on discord, show it to friends cause its not gonna reach the same people it would normally. Gotta break out of my normal audience lol
There’s a magic I lost along the way, drawing the way I do for nearly 12 years will do that to you no matter how much I love what I do. You have to force somethings every now and then to make it fun I can start feeling that “wow I did something cool!” feeling after pictures again
I really noticed it a couple weeks back when I sketched a looser Beryl, and then it continued with that Mach “poster” and some sketches of Mei and it just made me realize that it didn’t feel like a “chore” to do those. I’m gonna keep riding this high
I’ve had a few friends point out my last few pieces and how it looks like I’m having more fun with them. It’s not that anything’s changed really, other than I’ve been leaning away from larger shapes. I’m having a lot of fun with art again because of it
