At some point my theatre going friend (who I don't think is here) is going to see a play that [someone I grew up with who is now pursuing an acting career] is performing in. And that will be a very odd thing to see on fb!

The best purple I have found was a Pelikan limited edition and I've nearly finished my bottle. Octopus Fluid purple is close... I think I will go look at that because I do have Opinions about purple ink!!

My grandmother used to live nearby, and would take us to the museums. There was, I am sure, a walkway between the NHM and Science Museum near where the earthquake/geology section. And I am appropriately dressed, I have dinosaurs on my tee-shirt, and on my earrings. 2/2

Today was flute day. I got the wooden flute when I was ?20. Life happened and it got put aside. I started playing the recorder. Then Team Recorder talked about traverso flutes, so I tried one. The two are very similar and I have the same issues with the lower notes. #RecorderPlayer #Accountability

Good morning Womble, I'm good and hope you are too! Due to unexpected extra stuff at work not much reading was done. I have decided I do not like one of the library apps which re-sizes the font when opening it, but still enjoying A Case of Mice and Murder by Sally Smith.
Practiced my tenor recorder. I struggle to accurately play the bottom two notes on a consistent basis so really ought to do more practice. Finished by playing my favourite piece to play, which was a grade 3 exam piece. #recorderPlayer #Accountability
So I believe the theme for #ShowMeYourKnits this week is WIPs. So here is my very definitely wip blanket, one of two, this is my mitre square West Yorkshire Spinners blanket, knitted from leftover sock yarn, and I do expect this to take a long time to finish.

It's seven years since we posted on Twitter about how kids kept coming into the library asking if we had any books about FORTNITE. We didn't back then, and we'd never heard of it so we tried asking what it was.

Because of various reasons, right now my ability to concentrate on something for more than a few minutes has gone. So the 40 ish minutes I spent yesterday and today practising my recorders was lovely, because I did focus, it was so nice! Ability to focus should be returning over the next week.
Today I practiced my alto recorder. So it's been a while and there were some really silly mistakes, and I do need to practice more! I was, when my teacher stopped, absolutely considering taking an exam on the alto. I am decidedly not at that level any more:( #accountability #RecorderPlayer
