I try to think of a more positive framing of what is happening to our country by the treacherous regime......think....think.....think.....Nope, nothing comes to mind. It is exactly what it appears to be. Worse, than I ever imagined. Make it stop.
"Truth to power" means to courageously confront authority and speak out against injustices or wrongdoings. It emphasizes the importance of standing up for what is right, even when it may be difficult or risky to do so.
Everyday I go on Blue Sky first thing in the morning and check for two things... 1. Is he dead yet?! 2. Have the higher ups, people in authority, and officials from both sides decided that enough was enough? So far I've been disappointed.
Today I have no eloquent words...no thoughtful expressions...no fury to vent. I'm just going to be simple and say, that the whole regime is a bunch of abusive, lying bullies, and they deserve everything back that they are *putin* out. Doom on the lot of you. Karma and accountability are coming.

I love that the Epstein scandal is what's causing the nut cult to crack. There's going to be a waking up for many on the side of the regime. Cracks are showing every day. There won't be that much satisfaction on my part, other than a brief I told you so. Their clarity might be coming too late. Inevitably we will all be in the same boat heading for the same catastrophe.

I know many people who are completely disconnected from politics. I admit I was once like that too. My understanding changed over the last decade, especially through the pandemic. Checking out is not an option. It's our civil duty to care about something that affects the planet & all of humanity.
If we could sort of Captain Marvel-ize these times, all of this trauma would make so much more sense. These daily dramatic battles of corruption-over-honor, may look political from the outside, but its really all about the semi-flawed superheroes vs the *I've hit rock bottom villains.

I get the same feeling when I hear the political news everyday as I do when I watch true life crime documentaries. It's the same horror & disbelief that people can act & be a certain way. I don't understand why this is allowed to continue happening. This regime should have been stopped long ago.
How can anyone argue that this is politics as usual. It's absolutely insane what is being expressed & acted upon on a daily basis - with zero resemblance of being presidential. All those who support even one iota of this party is disconnected from humanity and lacks any depth of character or wisdom.

Driving through a wealthy part of CT. I was surprised at all the dump signs, banners & paraphernalia draping people's homes, littering the natural beauty. It's such a gaudy display of their own messed up beliefs and ego. The cult is everywhere and affects every walk of life. They are like a plague.
It's almost impossible not to be...but everything starts with a vision and I prefer to put my energy towards possibilities than to be closed off by what has been.
I'm not saying regulation by government. I'm saying there needs to be honor & truth within the actual news organizations. Reporting facts should not be subjective. I don't have all the answers, but guidelines and ethics matter. Opinions & biases are not news. The news companies need to make changes.
I did not infer that we should remove freedom of the press. That would be as extreme as the way news is reported today. There should be a clear basis of reality, an actual focus on reporting the news fully and concisely. Without bias and without drama. Like a medical report or the letter of the law.
Catching up to the news today of the big-fight-breakup between 2 assinine villianous narcissists. When you're living a life of ugliness and greed, it's bound to all come out in the wash. Let's hope they completely self-destruct...I mean that with all goodness and light of course.
