Here in Canada, the Spring migration is over, nesting is finished, so we move to bugs and butterflies and any other alternatives to keep busy. I imagine your seasons are about the same. Good luck out there and take care.

Well, I am 66 years old, and it is difficult to remember a time when this world was full of decency and respect. So what can we expect? Trump and Putin are insane control freaks, greedy, fucking monsters. I keep wondering how we will get through this, as everybody is. Wishing everybody good luck.

That is the place I first started to look for birds, when I had a decent camera, about 22 yrs ago. I have been up and down that creek path 100's of times. I photographed a yellow crowed heron in there way back in 2010.

The hunters of any race who kill African wildlife are quite disgusting to say the least. I have been to Tanzania seven times for photography tours that I host. I know the Wildlife well., and how someone can be proud of killing a sweet animal just standing there with no defence is unbelievable.

I am sure I will enjoy the views, I love to see the culture of the UK people, so interesting. I will ask my daughter to follow too, she loves the farm, as she works on a fruit farm currently, for he r college co-op program. Take good care.

Northern Saw-whet owl, hiding from raptors in the pine tree. Caring about Nature involves respect, keep quiet, never flush these birds, take a quick shot, and leave quietly. Love Our Natural World.

Northern Hawk owl. He/she is guarding its lunch, frozen solid in the tree. This owl worked really hard to attempt to remove its cached prey, but was not successful. The vole may have been wet when it was placed here. Real nature at its best. #owl #nature #birds #caching #hawkowl

Hi Judy, there is some sort of popular tree in the area that produces a white, fluffy sort of cotton that floats around and gets caught up in small structures like fences and gates. I wish I had a better and more scientific explanation, but that's the best I can do right now.
