Also, know that you must ask for a 3D mammogram, or the doctor will only write the order for a regular mammogram. I had a history of BC, and I found this out because I asked. Person with prior BC, not being given a 3 D one!

If you have dense breast tissue, mammograms are faulty. I found my lump and had been getting regular mammograms. MRI found a recurrence, that mammogram once again had not caught.
