A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say. This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand. All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.
What’s at stake here is free speech. Across the board, we’ve seen the Trump administration use the power of government to go after anybody who’s criticized them — and in this case, Jimmy Kimmel. We need to all stand up and speak out.

I don’t think there’s anything that could’ve been done to disqualify him from running since the constitution didn’t say so. But I agree, the results should’ve been contested & a recount should’ve been done. And that’s one major difference with Dems vs GOP: Dems got class & advocates for peace.
