My stash is really small compared to that of most quilters and I’m OK with that. I tend to buy just what I need for each project. I do have some favourite fabrics that I keep on hand.

It’s always a challenge to work within the constraints of the fabric in the package. I will substitute in from my stash on occasion but I normally try to work with what’s there.

I spent a few months away from my sewing machine so I’m getting back in the groove with a couple of easy projects before I get fancy. This is the next quilt and it is going to use the same pattern, Dakota Sunrise, as the one I just finished with the marbled fabric. Cutting it out today!
