Stopped on my way to Soulcycle to record an HSI, Park Police, and MPD arrest downtown, and some HSI guys waited until they were in their unmarked car to tell me to smile more.
To Chicago comrades & anyone else facing possible federal occupation: The National Guard is standing around for photo ops. DHS, ICE, FBI, DEA, ATF, are working with local police to terrorize & kidnap our neighbors. Organize accordingly.

Jokes aside, US Parks Police is notorious in DC for being especially brutal. They terrorize unhoused neighbors, trashing their belongings if they try to set up a tent & constantly waking up anyone trying to catch some sleep on a bench.

Yep. WMATA drove this whole bullshit about fare evasion. And a lot of the people being targeted are young people who should have ride free cards but aren’t getting them from schools, don’t know where to get replacements, or like the rest of us just forget their shit at home!
