So many things have done well in the veg patch this year, though not the Sweetcorn or Squash which despite regular watering never really ‘got-on’. Plenty of Carrot this year, joining the Tomato and Courgette glut in a batch of Veg Chilli. Hendo’s is not as good as Worcs Sauce obvs’, but needs must 🌱

I wasn’t planning on pressing this year but all of a sudden there seems to be a lot of (smallish) fruit. Dry conditions and now these bloody gales have resulted in a lot of fallers, which is my job for the week. Seems to be a bit early too, but won’t be pressing until mid-Oct at the earliest.
