The anime "Higurashi Gou" actually did the same thing as FF7R. It marketed itself as a remake for months, only for it to come out and reveal it's actually a sequel. Both left a sour taste in my mouth, but at least I'm playing FF7R. I doubt I'll finish Higurashi Gou because of that trick.
Shattered Memories was actually made by an American studio that always marketed itself as a "reimagining" of the original.

The pain I felt from beating Back to the Future on NES molded me into the person I am now. Playing Snood showed me just how good *actual* Bust-a-Move is.
There is, literally, zero reason to get an Xbox Series X/S over any other console or PC. There are ZERO exclusives, and the ones that do exist are digital exclusives from the previous generation and Halo 5: Guardians. Riveting.
Console exclusives are important, and the loss of them in the modern day will slowly phase out dedicated consoles until it's just pre-built PCs.
Not only should you play bad games, but you should beat them too.

These aren't going to be 1:1 perfection recreations, but I'm aiming to use the same artwork used in the originals. Creative liberties will be taken if the artwork is hard to find in decent quality, like with Dragon Ball GT, or potentially the cartoon collection volumes.

"Clone Wars" is such a bad pilot to a good show. The early seasons weren't that good either, but it apparently got good after I dropped it as a kid. As for the film itself, it's a drab, boring, unfunny, uninspired slog of a film that's only saving grace is James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan.

"Solo" is a funny film. They explained what the Kessel Run was, which was neat, but totally unnecessary and takes away from fan interpretations of Han's character from ANH. They set up Maul just to never fucking use him again. WHY?!
"Force Awakens" was a good film when it came out in 2015, but the sequels, and time itself, made me realize just how disappointing of a standalone film this is. Questions that never get answered (or have shit answers in "Rise"), Finn x Poe getting axed, and so much more. What a disappointing film.
"Clones" has nuggets of a great Star Wars story in it, but it's held back by the half-baked love story that George couldn't write well. It gave us Yoda jumping around everywhere and Dexter Jettster, so I can't be too mad at it.
"Last Jedi" is undoubtedly the best of the sequel trilogy and was full of moments that truly made Star Wars stand out. Evocative, emotional and funny. Fuck all the haters, Rian Johnson knew what was up. "Phantom Menace" was a bit too focused on setting up future plotlines, but it did it's job well.
"Return" is a bit disappointing, coming off the heels of a much better film, but it's a satisfying conclusion to the saga. *JUSTICE FOR YUB NUB*
"Rogue One" was exactly what I wanted out of a spinoff story set in the Skywalker Saga. It's a shame they didn't keep that streak. "New Hope" is important, it's amazing for what it is, but the opening 30 minutes can be a bit of a slog return to after a while.
"Empire" is pretty uncontestably the best entry in the series, and any point otherwise is pure contrarianism. "Revenge" is just my personal favorite. It's objectively still in the top 5, but it has a lot more flaws than I'm willing to admit.
