I didn’t mention the OSA? Fire kills people. Cars kill people. Would you make it impossible to drive given 5 people die every day in the UK alone? AI has been a hugely safe tech so far (since 1979) in comparison. However politicians order its use 2 kill people. There’s where you should be shouting.

From article, you can’t see how exchange is built in. If they do the study then as socialisation is about exchange then it’s no issue. The intent behind it here is the major issue. There’s nowt wrong with radical new ways of teaching & educating. It really is time for new models to emerge.

Yesterday I spent the day with someone I hadn’t seen for nearly 40 yrs. We have talked quite a bit online but... The illusion of contact through SM is very real but not. Meeting was amazing & she remembered so much of what we said to each other back then. Conversation was so easy to slip back into.

… to which I’d say, love of symmetry as a basis of that is old school and amateurish thinking or something designer would get excited by. To someone of my vintage and background, asymmetry is much more exciting and daring and so I would score low. Never let scientists tell you what art is.

I’d strongly recommend this ok about neuroscience and art, but it confirms my theory art you shouldn’t let scientists tel you what good art is, nor designers for that matter. It’s tarts with question about your ability to have aesthetic experiences and asks if you get excited by symmetry…
