A fine article builds a clear & convincing case.The danger grows with each passing day. America appears to be sleepwalking into some mutant form of autocracy. Many experts already describe it as an anocracy; a debased form of democracy with authoritarian aspects.

Yes, that's largely folk who have never been. Of course, it has problems, all big cities do, but it's such a vibrant mix.
I like Bradford, not least because it offers the best curries in the known universe - especially at Karachi cafe.

What are your favourite poems? Two of mine have a Hull theme, Larkin's Church Going & the wonderful To His Coy Mistress by Andrew Marvell. Both men spent much of their lives in Hull, although separated by 3 centuries.
A US friend recently said these powerful words, 'America has lost its heart.' It's tragic to see, one wonders if they will ever find it again?
