I enjoyed listening to WUMB Boston until several months back. There seemed to be a shift in programming. I enjoyed the eclectic mix of modern and classic indie/folk music, but a shift seemed to happen, and I don't enjoy it the same. It's too bad, I considered it an oasis from life's troubles.

Does anyone else have someone you live with that continues to initiate conversation after you have said "goodnight"? It routinely happens to me, and it's very trying. Once I have said "goodnight," I'm not looking to continue conversation, I'm starting to decompress and shut down.

Found a free 22" tv, perfect for a little gaming nook. However, I'd love to have words with the design team. They did not leave enough room for cables to fit the HDMI port, and so far, none of mine will fit. I do love that it has RCA, component, and coax input. I'm looking for an adapter that fits.

My go-to breakfast place did try to be trendy and start serving booze, but they still kind of have the reputation of being a greasy spoon, so it hasn't caught on. Best place in town, rarely a wait and they have high turnover. Most people are in & out. Food is GOOD and comes out in <10 minutes.
There are a few "brunch" spots in my area, but I've only been to one. The wait was 45 minutes, which wasn't terrible, and I was meeting a friend, and that's where she wanted to go. Otherwise, I would have vetoed. The others I've never been because I hear there's almost always an hour+ wait.
Hmm... I thought so. I feel like breakfast spots that don't serve alcohol there is rarely a wait, and if there is, it's almost always <15-20 min. People are in and out. The places that market themselves as "brunch" where they so serve cocktails tend to be a lot longer wait because people linger.
Random question, but somewhat related: Is this one of those breakfast spots where you can get alcohol? Like mimosas, Bloody Mary's, screwdrivers?

Is anyone else over the age of 35 incapable of relaxing? I feel like I'm in a constant state of anxiety and just simply can't relax or do the things that I once enjoyed. This has been going on for at least a year and a half. I do have occasional distractions, and those are always appreciated.

I've never had bad sushi from my local supermarket. Granted, my bar is low, but still... They make it fresh on premise every day. I've even had them offer to make it for me in the spot. Plus, it's much cheaper than going out. If the chopsticks are cheap, I always rub them together! 😆

There's a TMNT Movie coloring book from 1990. It basically tells the story of the movie, but all the designs are the Fred Wolf Cartoon, Turtles, April, Splinter. even Shredder.
I occasionally check out the Transformers coloring books that people have lovingly and painstakingly scanned and uploaded to Internet archive. Some of them are wild and a lot based on the G1 toy design, not the cartoon, which I kinda love.
I've found that a lot of their stuff is seasonal, too. Sometimes, you gotta stock up. I wish I had one that was convenient for me to shop at. I rarely go because while there are 3 in my area, they are all about 30 min away from home, and even if I went from work, it would be out of my way.
Sometimes, I wonder if I'm mentally ill or if I've just been programmed from the time I was a child to mindlessly, needlessly, & endlessly consume. I'm willing to bet it's a fair bit of column A and a whole lot of column B.

One Christmas, I received several Captain Power figures and vehicles from my aunt. I had never heard of Captain Power, and the gimmick was slightly too advanced for my age. I liked the figures, though. She later told me that I did not appreciate them. I guess she thought she had a homerun. 🤷♂️
