I highly doubt it. These tariffs are fundamentally illegal and constitutional law (it's quite literally taxation without representation). Once Trump inevitably dies, all his NAFTA-loving friends will step in and stop the madness. Even Vance is pro-free trade.

One can DIY but it would be extremely laborious without the die casting machines, the programmed auto-fillers, and the industrial sanders/smoothers. Making a single pin would be no where near cost effective.
It's not actually illegal. They just have high environmental regulations. China, themselves, upped Enviro regs a few years ago and lots of factories shut down that couldn't comply.
There are no USA-based enamel pin manufctuers besides two that produce only small soft enamel basic shapes (square, circles, etc) and are $$$$ (think min $8/pin). All the rest are lying about being "US based". There are also no US-based plush manufacturers.

At first I thought I'd make them LE, but because they're going to be one of the charity dragons, I think I might keep them around, but the stock we have will be "limited" right now as in, once they are sold out, there will be some time before new ones come in.
