How do you think you convince cis straight people it matters?
Where do you think they try out techniques before rolling them out in the US? Theyāve been here along with the other far right āfoundationsā for 30 yearsā¦
[11] When you actually check how many Israelis live in Cyprus, recent estimates by the media are 3,500 families or about 15,000 people. Thatās not exactly a lot of people. The population of Cyprus is 1.4m. So a lot of nastiness about nothing.

[2] Looked at logically, & we canāt know unless there are statistically valid surveys, the exodus of Israelis suggests that they are at the very least questioning or re-evaluating Zionism. A central pillar of Zionism is to live in Israel. Moving to the EU suggests a different perspective.
š§µ Just had a YouTube served to me about the exodus of Israelis from Israel to Cyprus. At one point the commentator suggests that Cypriot ppl should be ashamed to be helping the āIsraeli Zionists take overā Cyprus. This is not acceptable & is antisemitic.
I know, it happened quite close to where I live & was really shocking. Fortunately the Taoiseach [prime minister] is supportive of LGBTQ rights & stood up for Queer charities being attacked by English transphobes when they tried to smear the charities.
Apologies, I realise Iām preaching to the converted about how hating minorities is wrong. It just really upsets me to see injustice. Most people are just trying to live their lives. Itās depressing that the old adage ālive & let liveā is being constantly attacked. Keep the faith!
Itās exhausting seeing how the media treat these people. Any rational person who checks out his replies on Twitter would be stunned.
We donāt have hate crimes. The politicians didnāt want to upset the āChristianā fundamentalists. They abandoned banning hate speech & now they brought in a thing [recently] where they can take hate into account when someone is sentenced. We have yet to see it work. Canāt upset Christo-fascists!
Given how successful this far right GC ideology is in UK politics & the British national media, it can only be a matter of time before they are dusting off all those āhilariousā homophobic cartoons of yesteryear. Any historian of the far right knows where this is going.
All very well & good Private Eye printing an anti-fascist cartoon. This is the same Private Eye that regularly prints far right anti-trans conspiracy called āgender criticalā. In the 70s-90s Private Eye regularly printed homophobia. So much for learning lessons & not punching down.
Irish sentencing is relatively lax. Itās about 8y for murder with āgood behaviourā.
Over 1,000 anti-trans articles are published each month by British media, all with the excuse of āprotecting women & girlsā. Imagine if they covered the systemic violence of cis straight men against women & girls, as much. They donāt. But then again, the owners of the media are cis straight men.
Whilst this false far right conspiracy that trans ppl are supposed to be a threat to women, is going on, the actual threat is getting away with it. One in four [25%] of women has been raped by a cis straight man.
The rhetoric of the far right is they want trans women out of bathrooms & changing rooms āto protect women & girlsā. Trans ppl are not a threat. For instance you are almost twice as likely to be a British policeman in jail than a trans person.
About 0.7% of ppl are trans, but 51% are women. As the so-called ātrans panicā amongst British politicians & media grows so have attacks on non-trans [cis] women, who transphobes decide donāt look female enough. Itās now a regular occurrence that cis women are being attacked.
People who arenāt paying attention donāt think anti-trans stuff matters, as they donāt know any, & think of caricatures of trans ppl on sitcoms etc. To the far right yobs it does matter. This happened in Dublin, which doesnāt have the anti-trans culture of Britain. You should care:

š§µ This ink on paper drawing came about as I thought about, āwhat does mellow feel like?ā And the answer in my subconscious was slumbering happily in the sun. The one-off work, as a result, exudes relaxation & banishes anxiety [1]
The date is a significant period before current events. The Hunt Bequest is a magnificent one. However, there was remarkably little provenance data with the bequest. The point now is that all objects are available to see on their website.
