Democrats could run on the gun violence issue alone if they didn't worry about appeasing the loud minority. Democrats are afraid to take on obvious winning issues because they're scared by the bullies. Be courageous. Do what's right.
Look at how many issues you're posting about just today. How do you expect your constituents to keep up? Don't really need you to be an effective legislator right now. Just need you to keep up pressure regarding the felon pedo president. Force your republican colleagues to defend him.

Plenty of your voters will think this is somehow your fault, you and the evil Democrats. Are your colleagues working on formal legal guardrails that can be passed into law someday, that establishes in law the norms that R's and the vile president have blown right past?

What the Rs do, and have always done, is have a plan. Then they follow it year after year, decade after decade. Their plans bear fruit. Why is it so hard to make a plan for us non-Rs? Herding cats I get. Can't we create a very simple plan with 3 basic themes and agree to it for 50 years?

Kind of in shock that I live in a world where this does not matter to a lot of folks. Of all the people who could be president, they think this guy is the best choice. What do you even say to those people?
If it makes Democrats mad, they chalk that up as a win. Their depth of hatred and the lengths they will go to hurt us is remarkable. So what are we going to do about it? R voters won't hear this story. They will be told it's our fault. They will believe that.
Would like to see them put out a request for pro bono legal work to rewrite regs and missions so that modern firefighting techniques do not trigger adverse legal actions.

I appreciate the reach out. Did not find DMs open. Lots of concerns on my mind. I don't recognize my country lately. I have neighbors I won't talk to because of the news the consume. I have doubts that the last election was legit. Doubts there will be any more legit elections. The game has changed.

I am probably not alone among your constituents in thinking the felon did not win all those swing states. I believe he and musk found a digital backdoor to manipulate the vote. I believe that they and the R majority are fraudulent and expect you not to work with them unless/until the fraud is open.

I don't like that they changed the rules either, but they have changed whatever rules used to exist. We won't be able to gently nudge them back to our idea of normalcy. Strong words and letters won't cut it. These bullies and idiots will have to be beaten and humiliated until irrelevant again.

'Speaking out' sounds great, but many of our neighbors don't believe a word we say and never will. What we need is a strategy to reach those voters who are comfortable in the disinformation bubbles they choose to be in. They have a winning tribe. Why should they listen to us?
