Fully agree, and to my opinion I see a direct consequence : don't, never, ask it to do something that you could not be able to do by yourself, in some way, or just with more time. Because if so, how will you even evaluate the result ?
American Republicans, most of whom self identify as "conservatives" (many of whom are actually regressives), hate science for 2 main reasons: 1) It conflicts with religious doctrine. 2) It gets in the way of business interests. And let's not forget: 3) They don't understand it.

For myself I think what you feel about "AI devouring art and creative" is the same that I feel about "social networks devouring human relationship". AI is just a tool in it. As are submarine network cables, screens etc.. etc..

When I see such posts, I think Bluesky is not such a safe place for thinking AI. Isn't your position a bit violent ? Maybe you are so troubled with AI ramping to be patient anymore, I can get this. I like and mislike AI but I don't believe AI haters are the most performant judges for the matter.
