I think the discourse is very fractured. A reasonable % of the public, myself included, doesn’t know what to do with this sort of thread at this point beyond battening down the hatches. Where I live, you can sometimes find juvenile flounders by seining or even snorkeling around. I'd just never seen one with this amazing shape. Fish are the best

PIGEONFEST NY! Yesterday I did a book signing at a pigeon festival on the High Line in NYC and it was one of the best, most surreal experiences of my life. The festival took place next to Dinosaur, a huge pigeon statue by Iván Argote, who I got to meet!!!

No, you need specialized equipment, so I take classes at a pottery studio where they have kilns. You can buy mini kilns that can do a few items but I haven't done that.
