And then there's a graphic novel about the solar system with Jon Chad, a book for Atlas Obscura with Dylan Thuras and Joy Ang that was a NYT bestseller, a fun book about critters using social media, and an older comics collection (pretty much out of print alas). Okay, that's a lot.

A book called Science Comics: Solar System, our place in space, by Rosemary Mosco and Jon Chad, featuring a bunch of cute pets in space and a happy computer projecting an image of Jupiter and Saturn. A book called Atlas Obscura Explorer's Guide for the World's Most Adventurous Kid by Dylan Thuras and Rosemary Mosco, illustrated by Joy Ang. The cover has tons of beautiful wonders like Rapa Nui statues, glow worms in caves, underwater statues and more. A book called Critter Chat: What if Animals Used Social Media? Featuring a dog using a cell phone and a wacky looking giraffe. A book called Birding Is My Favorite Video Game: Comics about the natural world from Bird and Moon. It features a variety of birds with points labeled. The ivory-billed woodpecker is labeled 5000 points.

Brown pencil drawing of a harpy whose bird body is that of a Jacobin pigeon, with voluminous neck feathers resembling the huge collar of a fur coat; peeping out between these is the head of a woman with an elegant late Edwardian hairstyle, arched eyebrows, and a nonchalant expression. In 7th grade I used to get home from school and disappear into the computer room. And boy were my parents thrilled when, after six months of this mysterious behavior, I printed out an entire Redwall ripoff novel called OCEANFLIGHT and forced them to read it

Oh my goodness yes, mine was a Redwall ripoff with North American animals so I thought I was being original. The main character's name was an anagram of his final form and there was an irrelevant chapter about turkey vulture society

In honour of my new baby and in honour of not supposed to be working, over the next few weeks I'm going to post this short story called 'Fledgling' I made for my patreon 2 years ago. This is part 1/14.

Sounds of laughter come from a oriole nest, hanging suspended from a branch. There are three chicks speaking to each other.
