That is amazing and I’m very excited to listen this weekend.
One of the deaths is also, to me, one of the funniest sight gags in movie history. I was not expecting to laugh and rewind on a plane.

I grew up in New York in the 70s and 80s, got mugged a couple times, got in some fights, but the most dangerous situation I was ever in was visiting family friends in Roanoke, Virginia and ending up in a car with a drunk 17-year-old who tried to race one of his buddies.

Gavin is, currently, a useful weapon. That’s great! Smart people can encourage that without memory-holing his record—or the fact that just a couple months ago he was telling Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon that they’re not bad guys and he agreed them about a lot of stuff.
Not to get tinfoil hat, but the market shock (and 401k wipeouts) when tariffs kicked in was a big threat to Project 2025. It made low information voters aware something bad was happening. I think the administration and corporate class are working hard to keep the market inflated through midterms.

That’s exactly it. Look, if Gavin wants to attack Trump, great. If he makes other Dems more brave in their language and actions, super. But he has proven that he’ll say/do anything for power, and that’s not someone the country will need after this.
I’m happy his comms style is spreading (Crockett, AOC, and others have been there for months, but of course Gavin gets credit for “showing the way” bc sexism/racism.) But post-Trump recovery will require uncompromising action, so I’m fine reminding people that Gavin will say/do anything for power.

Any time someone shares a clip from CNN where someone on the right gets "DESTROYED" I click and hear six people talking at the same time, and then one person mutters something at the end, and none of it means anything. Which is exactly what CNN is going for.
