I always forget that he shot it, then ten minutes into a rewatch it’s like “DAMN this looks good” and then I have to check whether he filmed it in Australia.
Literally any single frame of THE HITCHER looks better than modern movies that cost 100 times as much. Thank you, FURY ROAD cinematographer John Seale.

Being able to say you did something is beautiful! Especially if it is a creative work. But man, just finishing a project, whatever it is, feels good.
People need to be reminded how good it feels to put something beautiful out into the world.
These gun people were my dad to some extent. He'd never show off like this, but for a very long time he never spent money except when he wanted a new gun. Over time he migrated to photography, and guess what people still always say about him, even years after he died? He took such great bird photos.
