Like the math is not mathing and it’s giving me panic attacks because how do you just increase your income by 35% each month suddenly??
I’m getting nervous because in a few months my social security tax payments go up, so I’ll owe 420€ monthly (and need to pay an additional 20% income tax) because my income is considered “upper-middle,” even though I literally do not make enough to survive yet most months. Idk how to afford the tax
I really wish governments understood that being disabled costs 2x (or more) more than an abled person’s cost of living. There are not enough social benefits to balance this out 😭

Thank you! And yes, I totally do have a tip and it's one that's so helpful, but I rarely see watercolorists talk about it: rotate your paper! As you're painting (or when you move to a new section) rotate the paper so the tip of the brush is always making the crisp line. It gives a lot of control!

10. Who worries the most? Absolutely Nico. Gabriel doesn’t care about anything and only feels worry/anxiety when something triggered them or they’re afraid for someone they love. Nico, meanwhile, will stress about anything and everything.
9. Who sings along to the radio*? *Spotify playlists They both do! Picture road trips with music at top volume haha. They both love music, and Gabriel actually has a really good voice too~
8. Who proposes? Gabriel wants to get married but, for a long time, Nico thinks its pointless (they already live together, have a kid, etc)…but eventually Nico proposes! Gabriel knew in advance so he could get his nails done all pretty though xD

Prior to this, the most expensive commission I ever did (non-commercial work) was around 300€. This isn’t regular work, but it was an amazing supplement to my income for two months! I really encourage other artists to ask high prices. Your buyers might be wealthier than you expect!
My first 1000€ commission just arrived safely to the commissioner! I’m so proud of having landed a job like this—both in not undercharging, and in creating a piece the buyer is so so so happy with~ ✨

7. Nicknames? Gabriel likes “Gabi,” but it’s mostly their kids that use it. Gabriel calls Nico “Nico-yah” sometimes to be cheeky, but Nico doesn’t love it because it’s what his mom calls him haha. Gabriel also uses “kuya” at Nico when he wants to be baby. They actually don’t use pet names much!
6. Who is most likely to carry the other? Ngl they’re both weak so I don’t think either one can carry the other, except maybe when Gabriel is 90lbs (41kg), Nico can lift him.
5. Who drives and who rides shotgun? After Gabriel got into a joyriding/DUI accident as a kid (though he wasn’t driving during the accident), no one ever taught him to drive haha. So, Nico’s the driver! (Gabriel does learn in their 20s though lol but Nico doesn’t trust them)
4. Favorite non-sexual activity to do together? As adults, they’re actually huge family people—so going to the park or an event with their kids. When they were younger and not parents, they liked going to the beach together!
3. Who apologizes first? Nico, for sure. If they’re both in the wrong, Nico’s always first. But if Gabriel is entirely the one who messed up, she is decent at holding herself accountable (as a mid-20s and older adult at least!). As a teen, she was terrible at it.
2. Most common argument? They actually argue a lot, but more in a bickering way. It’s fine xD But for actual fights, it’s usually brought on by mental health issues. Nico’s bipolar stressing Gabriel out, then Gabriel exploding on Nico as a result. It’s not always healthy, but they have good repair

Gabriel actually has a penguin stuffed animal that he adores. If he lost it or it was taken from him, it would absolutely trigger an episode/mental health crisis (mainly risking potential physical harm to those around him). That penguin helps him cope with a lot!

Exactly this! For whatever reason, people should be able to decide what they witness online, whenever reasonable. And simple moderation tools like this are super easy!
As much as will always be in favor of fiction and defend it, especially in queer and nsfw spaces, please tag them properly, with appropriate cw/tw !! Consent is the key word here and it's not about censuring, but giving people's choice to protect themselves
I think interchangeable now! CW is more for things that are also often not triggers (like CW food or CW invasive health test), so just broader. :) And for terms, I get the challenge of not being able to mute them all. But for me, just knowing what an artist I follow uses at least shows consent too!

I can’t speak for Canada specifically, but I know they did collect and remit VAT when I sold tarot decks from the US on there in the past! And they do all my EU-based VAT taxes now.
It still sounds like a fun exploration of evil and relationships with bad people! Questionable art is good art ngl I’ve also been curious lately to post and explore more of Ephiel’s relationship to his abuser, but it’s filled with dead doves (trauma bonding, parent/child trauma, trafficking, etc)
Just like, please take care of community. A simple “TW: dubcon” at minimum, “TW: pimping” or “TW: human trafficking” or “TW: sex slavery” to be specific of what people would likely have muted. Protect survivors in your space. Idc if you have a kink for our experiences, but warn before posting pls
Tbh posting any kink content with common trauma or triggering elements with a content warning is not safe behavior. Kink or nsfw art, like anything sexual, should allow people to consent to it or disengage from it. That’s basic human decency—and also helps prevent censorship too!
CW: trafficking I saw a post earlier talking about this situation but “imagine if it was a tboy and all the buyers go wild” Idk how to break it to the artist that that’s…reality lol. Trans guys are the hottest commodity in sex trafficking irl. So posting this topic, unwarned, is not safe or cool.
