I've been so ill I haven't been able to walk my dog for 1.5 years. I hate it. So I've been making my sick ass walk the treadmill a little every day for 2 weeks now. I feel better for moving, but also worse for the same reason. It's good to have goals, tho. I really miss taking him on adventures.
My dog is so spoiled that now when I eat I can hear him thinking, "hurry up and finish. That plate isn't going to lick itself."

I was going to suggest a strictly moderated other place, but yeah, the logistics of it are overwhelming. I used to moderate a rock climbing forum and when we were new, we were were immediately overrun by trolls (but eventually got it under control).

The fucked up thing is that I am CERTAIN folks are arguing with troll farm and bot accounts. I very, very rarely get blocked back by accounts I block. Bluesky gives less than zero fucks about anything happening on their app, too. I, too, wish I had somewhere else to go.
Once in a while it feels good to let a profanity filled insult loose, but I'm seeing people just endlessly argue and I fucking hate it.
As long as people keep engaging the trolls here, it's just going to keep getting worse. I'm not one to tell people how to post, but I am muting mutuals at this point.
Most are from troll farms and bots. I get blocked back by only about 3 to 4 out of every 100 accounts I block.
