I was in UK, and visited the Victoria and Albert Museum among other things. And I did some sketching in the museum. Here is the video and the sketch.

The old landlord of my parents said the same thing. While balancing on the railing of my parent's balcony, to install the new sunblind. My mum was somewhere in the background, close to the telephone to call the ambulance, as the balcony is on the second floor.

"The Cloud" (Die Wolke) by Gudrun Pausewang. A great story idea, smashed against the wall by an overly patronising tone. It's about a Chernobyl type disaster, but it happens in Germany. And the main protagonist is just an unpleasant know-it-all, who just preaches down on anyone else.
My father told me, that I am morbid. At an age, where I didn't even know what that meant. But it fits. And my intense imagination mixed a bit too well with horror. To the point where I found the movie effects boring compared to what my mind conjured up. Especially with King.
Could be an extra screwed up version of a German fairytale. I read Pet Sematary and Salem's Lot at around the same age. I think it was a good choice not to start with IT.

I had a similar problem. And it wasn't easy to find an additional income for me, that doesn't conflict too much with my illustration work. I believe it is also important to say: You didn't fail as an artist, just because You work another additional job.
Yes, I greatly benefitted from working a part-time job and having a steady income. It took a lot of pressure off of me to run after new -bad paying- gigs, after the last one was done, but my bank account was empty in no time.

Yes, that's what I thought too. The whole eye mask and dark sweater get up is Stede's idea of being "Gentleotter burglars", and it helps with anonymity! Because nothing is more anonymous than two otters zipping through the landscape on a pimped e-scooter, with a giant heap of trouts in tow!

I am learning Sashiko embroidery to mend my clothes. And it really hits the sweet spot between embroidery and practical sewing for me.
Reminds me of the story a zookeeper told me once. A magpie got into the meerkat enclosure. And it never made it out. The keepers found the hollowed out magpie the next day. It would have made a nice addition to the flesh puppet theatre of horror.
The other three reindeers are more random ones, as I kind of halfway through gave into my urge to add some Piratey goodness. Tho, I am pretty sure now, that Lucius is hogging up the outhouse.
