Seems Trump might be trying an end-run in which Texas mobilizes its National Guard. That would be Texas invading Illinois, which as you can imagine is unconstitutional. One wonders about potential remedies, such as IL seizing assets of TX corporations like X, xAI, and SpaceX. Just a thought. 🤔
To Chicago comrades & anyone else facing possible federal occupation: The National Guard is standing around for photo ops. DHS, ICE, FBI, DEA, ATF, are working with local police to terrorize & kidnap our neighbors. Organize accordingly.

Been thinking a lot about Fort Sheridan, north of Chicago. It was built on land donated by Chicago's wealthy elite to have a nearby army base so troops would be around to break strikes and respond to labor unrest. Sheridan Road existed in large part to transport troops to Chicago's south side.
