Yes, lower FF capacity factors reflect clean energy supplanting power sector FF - great pathway to drive down GHG pollution via reduced operating hours. Having FF units available in the transition - particularly w increased DERs - helps protect reliability and reduces conflict over stranded assets.

Setting aside the basic question of consistency. If $ propels focus and energy for Tesla leadership why not apply that practice to employees. Look at the pay rate for Tesla employees compared to other auto makers.

Agree with the clear need for significantly greater ambition re NYPA building public renewables and getting Clean Path back on track. To be fair, Clean Path went off the rails when costs went up & developers sought higher ratepayer subsidies (which NYSERDA denied).
