IT told me I could walk back the updates to the programs on my computer, but since I use the web-based versions of the apps, there is nothing I can do about it. AI has decided my name is spelled differently than it is on my birth certificate and AI is right, me and my parents are wrong.
The AI integration I did not consent to now on all the Microsoft Office programs I use for work keeps erasing the second N in my name. Not red underlined "this might be an error" but rather just full on erasing it.

I have this rule for myself, if I go thrifting I have to open hangers in my closet by donating a like number of items. It doesn't have to be like a blazer for a blazer, but one item comes in, one goes out... so... now I have to do that haha ugh. Friends Don't Let Friends Hoard Clothes!
I went thrifting this morning, first time in a long time that I did it just for me. Got 3 lightweight jackets/blazers, 2 vests, 2 oversized flannels, 2 skirts for work, a mini pumpkin crock, and a vintage pin that just says "Noise" with the no symbol for $89! (The plaid dress did not fit)
I can't speak for anyone else of course, but for me I absolutely do not expect it to be a cure-all. I do expect, however, to be glad that one of the modern super villains is gone. Does it mean all evil is dead? No. Does it mean that there's one less evil in the world? Yes.

I've been doing it part time since 2021 and am having a much more fulfilling and engaging experience than I did in 2005. You won't be "the old" at community college either, a lot of us are there.
