The best thing college taught me was different ways to think about and approach art. I also got to experience lots of different kinds of practice I wouldn't have been exposed to normally. Zero regrets, but I also went on scholarship so not sure it would be worth the money if I'd paid.

Society definitely pushes men away from being enticing or evocative. Too much of that rampant homophobia to risk being attractive to the wrong target.
Things I have learned today: There is an extremely blurred line between the aesthetics of a man being "cool" and a man being "sexy" It's hard to find sexy clothes refs of bulky or heavy guys. They are all either full nude, in undies, or are meant to convey power, not sex appeal (like wrestlers)
The Luke image is actually a surprisingly good example because they didn't just stick him in Leia's bikini. I'd include a lot more full outfits but it's nearly impossible to say when something is supposed to be intentionally sexy vs just generally appealing and good looking.

These are intended for different audiences so you personally may not find them all attractive - I certainly don't, some even look downright absurd to me - but that's not the point These are an alternative form of male representation that is largely missing from culture outside of JoJo and Lil Nas X

TO HELP CLARIFY WHAT I MEAN I ASSEMBLED THIS COLLAGE These are outfits designed to A) emphasize specifically the features of the male body and B) sexualize or present said body as something to be objectified or visually consumed.
This on top of the whole misunderstanding among men of male power fantasy vs the sexualized male like Kratos is played as eye candy or equally absurd claims.
Oh don't mind my comment too much. This is secretly a sideways criticism of how society has basically disintegrated male sexual expression because it either makes you "look gay" or threatening so when men try to look sexy they take on the affectations of women since it's all they know to model.
