Global childhood leukaemia deaths have fallen sharply since 1990. A rewatch of Prospect reminded me again how smart and economical the script is, how good the acting, and how great the worldbuilding, plus the details of space capsules, medic kit, biomatter mining details, etc. Much better than most big budget films. Very highly recommended.

Finished Aldissβs βGreybeardβ today - easily one of my top 3 novels of the year to date. I thought that βHothouseβ & βNon-stopβ would be hard to beat, but I can see why many class this as his best realised novel. Beautifully structured with an engaging cast of finely drawn characters. Superb book.
